Workplace Health & Safety Requirements

This basic course is designed to demonstrate the learner's knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.

People completing this course are able to identify and describe the legislative rights and responsibilities for workplace health, safety, hazards identification techniques.

Includes unit standard 497 (Demonstrate knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements).

$125 (incl. GST) - 4 hours classroom

Apply Safe Work Practices

This basic course is designed for students to understand and demonstrate safe work practices.

People completing this course are able to identify the principles of workplace safety in a given workplace and demonstrate safe work practices in a specific workplace.

Includes unit standard 17593 (Apply safe work practices in the workplace).

$125 (incl. GST) - 4 hours classroom

Comprehensive Hazard & Risk Management

This health & safety course provides students with knowledge of basic workplace safety, an understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and the skills needed to then apply key principles in the workplace. It will also provide an overview on the responsibilities of people in the workforce including steps to take to ensure the safety of themselves and others.

Includes 2 unit standards - 17593 (Apply safe work practices in the workplace) & 497 (Demonstrate knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements).

$275 (incl. GST) - 8 hours classroom

Fire & Emergency Warden Course

This fire warden training course provides students with an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a fire and emergency warden in accordance with legal requirements, as well as factors involved in the safe evacuation of a workplace or site in an emergency. Often run after Fire Extinguisher training in the morning.

Includes unit standard 18408 (Demonstrate knowledge of fire and emergency warden duties in the workplace).

Fire Extinguisher Course

This certified course will provide you with an understanding of the different types of fire extinguishers and give you the practical skills to put out a fire using the correct equipment.

Includes unit standard 3271 (Suppress fire using hand extinguishers and fixed hose reels).
